2018 January Chapter Meeting

This past October at IFMA’s World Workplace in Houston, presentations on active shooter scenarios were popular, certainly because of the number of recent incidents around the country. IFMA Delaware is offering this very special chapter meeting with a representative from Med-Tex Services, a safety, health, and rescue firm, who will educate us on all the aspects of this important topic. We will hear of statistics, forms of preparedness, behaviors that may potentially escalate to violence, responses to individuals and to incidents, and more.

This important meeting is longer than our usual chapter meetings; also, in January and February we do lunch meetings due to the possibility of inclement weather. Lunch will be served beginning promptly at 11:15 and must be concluded by noon, as CSC does not allow food in its stunning new conference rooms. Arriving late means no lunch!

The presentation will take nearly two hours, so plan accordingly—we want you to be knowledgeable and prepared regarding this dangerous situation that can occur anywhere.
