Dialogue Between a Buddhist Monk and a Psychotherapist:
Healing our Body, Mind, Spirit, and Planet

Ven Phakyab Rinpoche and psychotherapist Alexandra Kennedy MA LMFT are coming together on Zoom for a transformative weekend in May to explore how we can heal ourselves and our planet in a time of coronavirus and climate change. The weekend will end with a powerful Shamatha meditation, a guided healing journey that transforms pain & suffering, removes obstacles, and generates peace for all sentient beings.

Shamatha 9 Stages Course Level 1

In agreement with Phakyab Rinpoche, we are temporarily suspending the Shamatha Course and Barry University’s Talk in Miami due to the coronavirus epidemic. We want our dear teacher, friends, family and community to be safe, healthy, happy and at ease.
Phakyab Rinpoche and Helen Graham Park Foundation look forward to reschedule it as soon as possible.

Shamatha Meditation is a remarkable method for restoring our inner peace, stabilizing our mind, understanding and managing our emotions and the stress of daily life.
